Coach Bailey is a 1989 Eisenhower high school graduate and was named All-State his senior year before being drafted by the Houston Astros. Coach Bailey is a Yakima Beetle alumnus and holds several records for hitting. His collegiate playing days include a two year stint at YVCC in 1990-91 and finishing at Portland State University where he was honored as an All-Pac 10 North Designated Hitter in 1992. Coach Bailey has served as a baseball coach at Davis, East Valley and Naches high schools and most recently as an assistant at Yakima Valley Community College. Mike is married to wife Jodi and together they have two children, a daughter, Avery and a son, Mason. Coach Bailey is currently employed as an English teacher at East Valley high school in Yakima.

Coach Walania is originally from Derby,Connecticut and is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he was a pitching standout in the early nineties. Coach Walania’s professional experience included stints in the Florida Marlin’s organization as well as playing for the Grays Harbor Gulls and Tri City Posse in the Western Baseball League. Alan is a pension consultant for Associated Pension Consultants in Yakima.

Coach Weyrick is a 1981 Eisenhower high school graduate and has been better known for his 33 years of umpiring at all levels from Pro to Legion. Coach Weyrick played baseball at YVCC and CWU from 1983 to 1986 where he played various positions. Coach Weyrick has served as a baseball coach at Toppenish, and East Valley middle schools for 23 years. Ken is married to wife Renee and together they have five children, twin daughters Jessica and Jennifer, daughter Samantha, son Jason, and last but not least, and everyone knows and sees at the ballpark is son Dominique. Coach Weyrick is currently employed as an Science/Art teacher at East Valley Central Middle School in Moxee.

Coach Gage was a four year varsity letterman at South Whidbey high school where he was drafted in the 37th round his senior year. Coach Gage went on to star at Eastern Oregon University and was named “Pitcher of the Year” and an “All-American” as a senior. He still holds several school records at EOU. Coach Gage has extensive experience as coach/clinician with his last five years as the Head Assistant and pitching coach at Central Washington University. Lloyd is married to Kari Gage who is an athletic trainer at CWU. Their pets include a Siberian husky named “Ace” and a lizard named “Stubbs”.

Coach Finch is a Rogers high school (Puyallup) three year varsity player and was named All-League as a junior and senior. Coach Finch played four years of Varsity baseball for Central Washington University and served as team captain for the Wildcats. Coach Finch has three years coaching experience with the Ellensburg Babe Ruth program. Isaac holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in law and justice and eventually wishes to work as a Fish and Wildlife officer.

Coach Rutz is a Grandview high school graduate and played legion baseball with the Lower Valley Royals program. His coaching experiences include Sunnyside,Grandview and Granger high schools. Ron presently works at Mabton high school and also serves as an assistant football coach at Granger high school

Coach Sissom is a former Blues and Beetles player who is a 2005 graduate of Davis high school. He is a current player at Yakima Valley Community College and wishes to go on to Central Washington University to play baseball and ultimately pursue a law degree.
